I was crawling around inside a giant pyramid at Giza, some time around 1993, when a masked man told me I had to pay or he wouldn’t let me out. This is Ramses the Great, 2003-2019. Though not as openly telepathic as the audacious cat Rad Ghastly, one of the heroes of my story “Care Taker,” Ramses inspired me with his bold attitudes and knowing stare. I feel certain he would have fought hard for the right cause, given the opportunity.
